Quilt of Quilts: Workshops and Challenges
The RYQG will be participating at the Canadian Nation Exhibition (CNE) Quilt Show. Our quilt will be on view August 21st - September 7th, 2026. We will be displaying clothing and hand bags created by members from ours and other's workshops.

Learn creative ways to up-cycle and embellish your clothes. Whether you love the eclectic look of the Bohemian style or just want to repair, not replace, you favourite denim jeans, this class will start you on your way to creating your own style. Bring an item of clothing or a piece of fabric to class to start repairing or creating your own one-of-a-kind garment. You will learn different applique techniques as well as embroidery stitches to combine and layer different fabrics and colours, resulting in you own original creation. Come with ideas and pictures to start the design process.
