Bridget O’Flaherty is a Canadian textile artist, thread painter, and international speaker whose work is shaped by a lifelong connection to nature and a passion for sustainable making. Known globally as The Sustainable Quilter, she brings a unique blend of artistry, environmental insight, and grounded storytelling to audiences around the world. Rooted in curiosity and lived experience, Bridget inspires makers, educators, and industry leaders to rethink materials, embrace mindful creativity, and explore new approaches to textile practice. Through her lectures, workshops, and the Threads of Sustainability Podcast, she sparks meaningful conversations about the future of fibre arts.
