The Heart Health quilt is the result of a year long project with quilters and health professionals from the Healthy Lifestyles Division of York Region.

Each quilted square represents a specific Health message unique to each quilter, in design and focus. Together they bring home the messages “Adopt a healthy Lifestyle” and “Reduce your Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke”. The Quilt was officially unveiled on February 14, 2005 at the Regional Administrative Building, Newmarket.
