Our members donated their time and expertise to complete a beautiful raffle quilt. The proceeds were donated to a local women's shelter, Reta's Place and the Alzheimer's Society of York Region (Newmarket D.A.Y. Centre).

Bottom left is the presentation of cheques to representatives from Reta's Place and the Newmarket D.A.Y. Centre.

Photo on the right is of the "Homes for Humanity" Quilt which was donated to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit international organization dedicated to improving the lives of economically disadvantaged families through home ownership. This quilt was used in a silent auction to raise funds.
