Membership renewal time is upon us! Renewal and payment by Eventbrite is up and ready for your convenient payment by credit card or PayPal using this link: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/royqg-annual-dues-20222023-tickets-295440549637.
It is less work for the Guild if you use Eventbrite, however, we understand if you prefer to pay in the old fashioned way. The new form, with mailing instructions, is here: RYQG Membership Form 2022-2023.
Please note that the annual membership fees have increased by $5.00 to $45.00. This fee increase was approved by the membership for the 2020/2021 season but was not implemented due to the move to virtual meetings. Note the, “late”, fee will increase by $5.00 to a total of $50.00. The motion to change fees will be voted on at the AGM in May. If the motion is not approved, the form and Eventbrite fees will be changed to the previous fee structure.
The Region of York Quilters Guild was established in November 1985 by a small group of women who recognized the need for a quilting association within York Region. The first meeting was held in the Aurora Public Library with 25 people in attendance. Since 1985, our Guild has grown to our present 200 members.
Our Historical Archives are comprised of photographic and printed records of Guild activities. Past quilt shows as well as photos of monthly Display sessions and various Guild activities are recorded.
The RYQG maintains membership with the Canadian Quilters Association.
